The Bee Conservancy is offering a select number of restaurants and bars the chance to host a bee-friendly garden housed in a a 31" x 28" upcycled ABERFELDY whisky barrel and, where possible, cared for by a local community garden. The custom-planted gardens will grow seasonal herbs and flowers to support the foraging of local honey and native bees. Participating restaurants and bars across the country will display the barrel planter as early as late August, throughout September in celebration of National Honey Month, until October 31, 2021 in celebration of National Honey Month, before the barrels are donated to eligible participating local community gardens where they will continue to support bees throughout the year.
